I don't claim to know everything, and often don't even claim to know very much at all. I simply have a perception of things that allows me to understand where the lies and injustices are. I become incensed, and outraged by injustices, while the lies have a varying emotional and even physical effect on me depending on the level and degree to which they are orchestrated, and I am probably not alone in this category. I say that I am not alone, except that, when I look around, I think a great many people do not recognize these symptoms and have no idea where to lay blame, which leads to odd behaviours, or worse, or, well, I don't know what to make of this one at all, especially considering the 'getaway' car (tractor).

Sometimes the news gives me very good and obvious reasons to not believe in it. I suppose it's possible that there was a typo because these things can happen. Then I ask myself: if I manage to find most of my typos before I publish a simple blog post, how do they get through in an organization with a staff full of 'editors' and 'proofreaders'? Then that goes further down the road of kicking the can to land on: if the editors and proofreaders aren't really doing their job, what are the 'fact checkers' doing? I don't even have fact checkers, and yet I do my best to make sure that I am at least being honest with my readers, which, granted, might not always be enough to prevent the occasional psy-op or satire from slipping through, but I AM the staff, and I am not even paid enough (or at all) to give a shit... Yet I do.

Speaking of satire, I just read a headline so good, it didn't need a story... In fact, it didn't have a story.

I was aware that this was in the works, I even wrote about it two years ago. Not that I'm going to say I told you so, because nobody was reading my blog at the time, so I really only told me so. Obviously there is a very good reason for doing such things, which is quite simply: to do whatever they want whether against our laws or not with no consequences to them. While I am on obvious topics MM&A is going to leave Canadian taxpayers holding the bag whilst also screwing U.S. taxpayers out of about 27 million that was on loan from the USG. Well done!

I am on to your little corporate scam... Yes I understand why you think you need foreign workers to fill the jobs that Canadians 'cannot'. Funny, where are the language police when you need them? French isn't even a required language in this job (see the bottom in preferred skills)... Funnier still, just below that the go on about how 'ethical' they are. How long do you think it'll be now before Tepco declares bankruptcy? I'm honestly surprised they've held out this long given that the entire system is pretty much bankrupt (morally as well as financially).

Zero Power, Zero Hours, thirteen orgs stealing what's ours

So there I was trying to find out if anybody anywhere knows why the Middle East has been canceled until further notice, when all of a sudden the power goes out. Nice mild sunny summer day with zero to complain about in the weather category. So I run through all the possibilities and about 15th on the list was terrorists (if there really is such a thing) so I stepped outside to see if marital law was in effect... I was disappointed. No smoke, no sirens, no cyborg army... Nope. It was lightning. The lightning happened hundreds of kilometers away which was likely why I missed it. Maybe it was terrorist lightning!

Lost on the path of least resistance

Sometimes we need to set reminders for ourselves because we have a tendency, and even tenacity for droning on day in and day out. Some changes in life occur so slowly that we don't even notice them. Night becomes day, day becomes night, and there's been bad news on every channel for so long that unhorrendous news is now the good news, and it's still worse than the bad news was just a few years ago. Unless it's just a rehash of the exact same news that went nowhere any other time it's been in the news.

When they say "you can't judge a book by it's cover", is that because you are supposed to judge a book by it's author? If that is the case then I think I have a book to buy since Reza Aslan stands up pretty well in this character assassination attempt that FOXNEWS passes off as an interview. That must be the antithesis of censorship: they hate this guy, so maybe the book has some unique perspective that nobody is supposed to read about, unless that is the sales pitch... Because, you know, when they hold a book-burning somebody has to buy up all the books in order that they be burned, don't they? Yes, that's precisely what a book-burning does, which is the exact opposite of how the internet works.

I am not certain if this qualifies for a Darwin award, or simply the worlds stupidest criminals list, but it certainly ranks high on the moron scale of if there's a will there's a way. How can anybody think anything like this is a good idea? It simply goes to prove the point that there is not much going on between the ears of a good number of people. It's a sign of the times we live in, when the times we don't live in are shortened on account of good behaviour (I think?)... I mean, really (no seriously, really?!!), are we supposed to keep writing blank cheques payable to the exact same assholes and not catch on, it would appear to be exactly so, except that lately we aren't sure if those expected to sign the cheque can afford the ink in their pen. Maybe the cheque had to be signed in blood anyway... Sometimes I wish I was this guy, instead of being so close to becoming this guy.

Tea, Crumpets, and Hedgemony

I don't know if the of lack of international events is because everybody's on vacation. Certainly there have been local oddities in weather and ghost trains, interspersed with uprisings in Turkey, Syria, Egypt, and Brazil to name a few. And the unsurprising "the world is more corrupt than it was" report that's been floating around.

The Snowdon case continues it's incredible end run around certain realities as does the whole Hastings thing. All of these are not 'new', really... Maybe I've finally fallen prey to the new normal and it's plateau of police brutality, power abuse, and spying. Maybe I've finally become desensitized to people being mowed down by militarized vehicles and shot in the face with tear gas canisters, while someone sodomizes and decapitates their dog in front of a live studio audience.

No, that doesn't sound right at all. Somebody has to be on holiday or a golf escapade and as such we are seeing only the two-bit criminals running rampant... It's certainly been quiet for the fact that both the G8 and Bilderberg met up for tea, crumpets, and global hegemony in the not too distant past.

I guess the apt question here is when is the next ramp up? Does the NSA buzz need to quiet down first, and then, blammo! A big fuckload of bad news!?? Seems plausible once you understand the modus operandi of the twisted circle-jerks hiding in the deepest and darkest planes of existence, or right under our noses.

Surely the surly beasts will resurface owing to such a voracious and insatiable appetite. These are not bears which could sleep 5 months a year, or since 2008 when the economy tanked.

The breakneck speed of stupid

There are so many curiosities which seemingly have no true answer. Can I not land a job in IT because I am over 30? Or is it a simple factor that there aren't any real jobs out there? Some numbers suggest that it's most likely the latter, but I am willing to bet the former compounds the issue thus making me doubly unemployable. I suppose it could be argued that I might be slower than I was when I was younger, but I don't think this was part of the official speed tests:

So the big brother watch has turned up in France now, as well. So let's see, there's now: U.S.A., Canada, U.K. Australia, and France who are about as bad as China in how they abuse the internet... Sure China actively 'censors' what's available, but do you not think that all this surveillance and logging of everything that is coming out of these other places has a similar effect? If people become paranoid enough over being monitored, that tends to lead to passive censorship which is actually worse in my opinion, because the first means nobody can read it, the second means nobody is saying it (really, no 'dislike' buttons because nobody wants to feel the sting of criticism? What are we, kindergarten children?) to begin with. France, of course, chose to put their own ironic flair on things by griping about the U.S. before any of their own problems became known.

The amazing legal caveats of not owning your data has started to cause a backlash against cloud services... I did see this one coming, though I did not foresee it's catalyst. Whatever the cause, the effect might mean I get a job soon... But like anything I've ever said, we'll see. Some of this hinges on how things are interpreted locally, and whether or not Montreal companies feel naked with all the recent spying and other breaches of privacy. There have been other developments in the technology space, I'd cut up my Visa or Master Card in protest, if I were owned by either such thing.

I guess this was bound to happen sooner or later... Masked men arrested in NDG bank. Given that the bank would have been closed @ 10:00 PM, some sort of explanation about the masks and why they were wearing them might be helpful. I don't think the wearing masks law applies when there is no 'protest' going on, especially since they were arrested for having drugs on them which would not have been known had nobody called the police on them for wearing masks.

It's a sad state of affairs when, for all we know, two people who were going to a costume party but needed to withdraw cash on the way, get ratted out and busted. I won't deny that it's possible that they were up to no good, but, this story and it's wording leads me to draw my own conclusions given it's lack of any substance, so the bottom line in my conclusions is they were arrested simply for wearing masks, and wondering if they would have even been arrested were they not carrying drugs.

Politics has become nothing, if not predictable. I suppose I have a certain wisdom due to my local surroundings which explains why I am so unsurprised to find out that the dead horse mantra is not dead. I've lived my entire life in a politically charged atmosphere, overflowing with corruption, that has flogged a separatist agenda for most of my life (if not before), and actually has a 'language police'. From my perspective it actually looks like someone let the stupid out of a bottle stamped with "consignee 5¢ refund Quebec", and it spilled into the rest of the world. I know that this isn't true as I have studied history enough to realize that stupid likely came forth from somebody rubbing a genie lamp at some time before the Egyptian pyramids were built, but obviously this study was after I'd already observed a whole bushel of stupid in my own surroundings. (OK, maybe this stupid is recent... But it sure was stupid)

Whoever tells you that there is no conspiracy probably needs to watch this. Sure it's long, and for many who come here, it might not be 'new', it is not really new to me either, but it's worth a watch anyway. I haven't said much about the criminals in office in Canada lately mostly because there is nothing really new to report in this whole Duffy boondoggle, but this article puts an interesting Watergate spin on the whole thing. Not that I think that it will play out like Watergate did because there's too many batshits in the bell tower in these times. Not that the bell tower is of much relevance these days when you've got ghosts like this elsewhere. You might not know him, but he probably knows you.

Of course he's not the only one, because these things are happening in other places too. Coincidence or providence? I don't see coincidence very often anymore. In fact I expect that once something unravels in one country we'll see it unfold in an almost identical manner several other places. I doubt that these programs coming to light are finished yet as I suspect there is still a large portion of Europe still to be exposed.

Was there ever any doubt that a new cold war was approaching? I know that maybe it was under the radar of all that hot war that's been going on since the CIA and Mossad did 9/11, because that played out it's intended purpose so perfectly which was to usher in a new era where freedom comes at the cost of having your genitals groped, or having to whip out ID for simply sitting on a park bench.

I heard a good joke last night: Quebec spends $500,000 to examine wasteful spending by feds. I am not sure if that was the joke or the punchline or where the drumroll fits, but it made me cry so hard I laughed. I know it's not nice to cackle wickedly at dumb animals, but I could never take myself seriously as a card carrying member of PETA either. I am almost sure this idea came directly from PETA because it leads me to wonder if there is going to be a mass kill of now 'illegal to sell' animals. Sounds like the logic of PETA (or dumb animals) to me.

Another thing that struck me straight out of the "what could possibly go wrong?" department is why attract a potential doomsday that we don't fully understand for 'further study'? Maybe we'll learn something, or maybe it will kill us all, but there seems to be very large potential risks associated with very small potential gains in this plan. Of course I'm not a rocket surgeon so there is a potential that I have no idea what I am talking about. I'd defer to my gut feeling, but I haven't eaten yet so my gut is somewhat upset right now.

It appears somebody has launched the holy hand grenade of Antioch. Sorry, I couldn't resist that one, especially after reading how ridiculous certain churches are getting. Don't worry too much about the 5-year-old, because she's been indoctrinated enough to know where she'll be if she protests. That's why we no longer have special classes for special needs children, because we want them to feel like they have a place in society as a whole.

Now that I've covered some of the varied topics that are bugging me, I guess I will focus on something for a while...

Wonders in Aliceland

Will wonders never cease? Canadian mainstream news appears to have picked up the 'Russia does not buy Assad's chemical weapon use' story. I wonder if this means Canada will not be going along with the plan? Not that I think Canada will veto the plan because we don't tend to do that either, at least not in the summer. Nobody would challenge us by starting a ground war in the winter (except for the aforementioned Russia), so vetoing in the winter could happen. I digress. It isn't like Russia has no reason to suspect any new intelligence when that new intelligence could simply be an old plan that's been deleted. It's pretty evident that the U.S. Government routinely fabricates things until they are caught in the lie and have to backpedal, poorly. Maybe the plan is being changed because not enough people bought into it, which simply means that it will be re-introduced as being precisely the same but at a different date.

I am kidding myself... Canada will tag along with big brother like the good little brother it always is.

I was hoping to change topics today, but, there is still much buzz around Edward Snowdon and the things he's brought to light, and a few things I realize I had not yet said on the topic in yesterdays post. I'll start with something I realize is incomplete, the Metadata from my phone does not include 'cell tower locations' which the government's metadata most likely does. This is not a 'pin-point' accurate reading of your location, but rather a radius on a map that you were likely in at the time. For a demonstration of this, turn off GPS on your smartphone and open the maps application. It will display a circle (or at least it does on my Android phone). Your real location should be somewhere in that circle as that is the approximate coverage of the cell tower you are connected to, and I suggest 'should' because I have personally seen this to be inaccurate at times where I was physically completely outside the circle (I had 1 bar of reception at the time). The size of the circle varies based on how populated an area you are in because the tower can only handle a certain number of active connections, and because tall concrete structures tend to bounce signals in funny ways. This means, the Governments data on your location is more accurate when you are downtown, and extremely inaccurate while you are lost in the woods... So do not buy the excuse that they need this data to find you when you are lost in the woods, a hunting dog would do a better job following your scent from wherever you parked your car and began your misguided nature hike. I am not certain of the exact timeline, but I think we invented dogs before cell towers.

Well, in keeping with my apparent theme, and because technology is my most practiced expertise, it only seems fitting that I call attention to some of the same things I've been calling to attention in the past few days. First I'd like to repeat "what happens there, if successful, shall be the model of what happens here". Of course, here they claim to only have 'metadata' (Which I will explain further down), and not the whole recorded conversation, but then again, there, they made that claim too, until there was proof of that being false.
