I know it has been a while since I have asked why do we trust 'experts' to give us our opinions? I mean here's one expert we can't trust to give us a copy of her diploma, so what else might she lie about, hmm? I am an expert in one thing, and that is knowing better than to call myself an expert at anything even if I do know that Egypt borders neither Syria, nor Iran:

I mean, experts came up with the idea that NAFTA would be good for Canadian consumers via lower prices, but instead we get this kind of thing happening. These kinds of things usually end poorly, yet we still have politicians negotiating TPP, CETA, & FIPA (oops, too late on FIPA) behind closed doors... If there really was some concern on their part, for foreign investors, then there would be a whole lot of people in prison for all those Triple-A rated junk bonds known as Mortgage Backed Securities which were purchased by the American taxpayer, rather than prosecuted. Nobody has gone to jail for that, but somehow, we now have swat teams sent out to establish who pissed in the pool, or something along that vein.

Do we really need an expert to tell us that 'bus boy' is such a complex career choice that it should have unpaid internships associated with it? How twisted and backwards do things need to be before everybody realizes that we left the boundaries of anything even resembling normal a long time ago, and that the only way to get back to normal is by stopping the rank-in-file march into insanity.

I know it's hard to hear oneself think over the 'regularly scheduled programming', which is why you should start in a small and targeted way, like, for example, "why do they call it programming?" seems like as good a place to begin to question things as any, does it not? Eventually that single question leads to a "Could they really be this blatantly NOT hiding this 'program' from the 'programmed'?" at some point down the line... I mean, the word "program" itself seems to have some very interesting meanings, most of which pertain to 'plans of action', 'encoding operating instructions', 'inserting instructions', 'causing automatic responses', or "a radio or television production".... Hmmm, that's interesting, isn't it?

the fear of fear itself

Whoever tells you that there is no conspiracy probably needs to watch this. Sure it's long, and for many who come here, it might not be 'new', it is not really new to me either, but it's worth a watch anyway. I haven't said much about the criminals in office in Canada lately mostly because there is nothing really new to report in this whole Duffy boondoggle, but this article puts an interesting Watergate spin on the whole thing. Not that I think that it will play out like Watergate did because there's too many batshits in the bell tower in these times. Not that the bell tower is of much relevance these days when you've got ghosts like this elsewhere. You might not know him, but he probably knows you.

Of course he's not the only one, because these things are happening in other places too. Coincidence or providence? I don't see coincidence very often anymore. In fact I expect that once something unravels in one country we'll see it unfold in an almost identical manner several other places. I doubt that these programs coming to light are finished yet as I suspect there is still a large portion of Europe still to be exposed.

Boil ice cubes, or watch paint dry...

It's hard to swallow anything calling itself science, when that science makes claims that melting ice is causing more ice... I'm debating putting an ice cube on the stove and waiting until the more ice appears, maybe somebody will pay me for such valuable data, like GE or White Westinghouse, or other companies that could manufacture a refrigerator or weapon of mass destruction effectively based on the principle that I unlocked the secret to forming ice cubes in a pot of boiling water.

mayday, snafu mayday

Well, it's mayday... Not that this means a whole heck of a lot. My life is it's usual snafu, with the added benefits of owing governments money, despite their refusal to grant me the services I paid for. I'd call it even and not bother hunting them down, but it's doubtful they'd ever stop hunting for me. I suspect something else is about to happen to me personally but haven't determined whether it's a health or a domestic issue...

There's always another shoe, so I doubt that the recent flurry of interest from headhunters goes anywhere but down dead ends, and then things go dark.

It isn't really where I aspire to be, but, then again, neither is this backwards place where we are herded like cattle "into the valley of steel". It's funny how relevant Roger Waters still is, and even more funny he wasn't declared an 'enemy of the throne' in those later Pink Floyd years...

I wish I had a better outlook on things, but I have really been lacking in inspiration lately. It isn't like the news out there has been much better than my reentry into the rat race. I read somewhere mysatan now owns Blackwater XE, or was I dreaming? Maybe it's that lack of inspiration, but I can't seem to put these two things together in any way that isn't scary as all fuck. I can understand the want to own a gun, but this is akin to having a flamethrower to ward off home invasions... Eventually 'a bigger hammer' is too heavy to wield, and I suspect that's what's going on here.

Politically-correct soft-core pornography

Anyone who still doesn't believe there's a massive shitstorm coming our way probably never will. How does one gain tactical advantage in a hostage situation from the safety of their bullet-proof death machine? Anyone? No? Okay then, how do sound cannons assist in negotiations? Because, unless the hostage taker also has a sound cannon, being heard a kilometer away is a rather one sided negotiation...

Protecting the recepticals

There's an odd synchronicity going on right now. I sit here wondering what to write yet, I am already typing. I have no idea what I am going to talk about today yet somehow it will find me, and if it doesn't I can still republish things I've already pointed out in the past because I don't think enough attention has been focused on the topic. I could draw attention to things happening now, whether they are good or bad, and that it's the same tired faces which appear over and over again.

Over the past two decades my opinions have changed on a great many things, so I'm obviously not on some single and close-minded crusade. So why do some people never change their tune over the same two decades? For me, as I look into things and think about what I've read or been told, a certain level of clarity sets in. I can even go so far as to ridicule my previous stance on a topic when I understand that I was incorrect in my prior assumptions, and now have more facts to prove the opposing side of my own arguments. I'd probably make a horrible politician, but that would hardly be enough for me to blend in with all the other horrible politicians, namely all of them, but I'd at least attempt to stand up to the bankers if I were a politician. I know that has a tendency to end badly, but I would do it all the same regardless of the outcome.

There is no spoon, so the spoon cannot be dirty.

According to Canada's finance minister there are no bad jobs, only lazy people. I find the very thought of this to be laughable when it comes from someone sucking the taxpayer tit for far more money than he is likely worth. It would appear that the political elite have become so far disconnected from the rest of society that there may not be any salvation even after the best available deprogramming centers have had a crack at it. 

I’ve changed my mind, sort of…

I know that I have not delved into my own back yard very much despite the war-zone the media has bombarded me with in recent months. I have been slow to chose an angle which I could truly support in the Government vs Student clash that has been paraded about like a ratings show pony, with one side’s vandalism, transportation/transit disruptions, and displays of public nudity, and the other side’s brutality, plastic bullets, tear gas, and heavy-handed arrests. In some part this has only been for my belief that there has to be more to this than simple tuition hikes, because in all seriousness, these protests have already cost more in added police presence than the tuition hikes would have earned the universities over several decades.

Polit-ECO, Politi-ÇA

So it looks like the last ballot I cast could may be the last one I ever cast. I hear the new NDP leader will focus on matters like preventing Climate Change­­™, keeping NAFTA well fed, not being 'beholden' to unions, not falling out of bed with Israel, modernizing the party (by becoming exactly like all the others), and putting NDP asses in seats whatever the costs to principles and mission statements. There is likely more than this, which I haven't yet read or heard, but it's off to a bad start to be certain.

Become the media

Is the plan becoming unglued? Are the money masters becoming nervous, or has their greed finally gotten the better of them? I was always certain that things would trend in the direction of infighting, impatience, and bold-faced publicly visible idiocy. I just thought they would be able to hold out until much more of the plan would have been played out. But, I suppose greed has a way about it which is transformation into a gluttonous lust for power culminated into envy among the 'haves' over what the 'have mores' have gained at their expense. Maybe this is also written into the plan even if it does not appear to be so.

MSM lies are becoming more and more transparent as time passes. Kony is a good example of failure to grab public support and sympathy. I had not personally watched the video before a co-worker had told me of evil people in Africa recruiting child soldiers... My only response was "That sounds like really old news... Like 20 years old..." This not statement only dis-armed my co-workers emotions, but prompted them to further research the issue and realize that somebody might be trying to manipulate their emotions. I was rather surprised about how easily I was able to defuse a situation that had presumably been carefully calculated to overwhelm logic with an outpouring of emotions designed to lead to only a single conclusion 'Invade Africa and get this monster no matter the cost'.

The silent U.S. invasion of Canada

As the old adage goes, keep your friends close and your enemies closer. However, you must remember to occasionally stand back and analyze who belongs in which group, because once our enemies are closer than our friends the line becomes blurry in much the same way as abduction victims often become sympathetic and even amicable towards their captors. Another adage 'Don't look a gift horse in the mouth' despite it's meaning and origins tends only to remind me that the Trojans were once gifted a horse, giving this yet another double entendre.

Where was I going with this? Well, politicians fall into that group of people I try to keep 'closer' in terms of scrutiny. I particularly don't trust those that somehow managed to win despite the massive turn of events in my own Province, which is often the anecdote to the rest of the country, but I feel this time was acting as the antidote instead. Add to that there is another politician who I could not have voted for, and whom I believe was illegally on the ballot to begin with for a sum of two people I highly distrust. Well, now both of these leaders who've shown me no reason at all to trust either of them are engaged in talks about a 'perimeter agreement', the details of which are fairly secretive, but make "gift horse" promises about how much better it will all be. Well, don't look that in the mouth... No, instead we should carve open it's belly to see if it's intestines are, in fact, horse and not a security force bent on killing us in our sleep.

The Canadian Media is citing privacy, security, and consumer related concerns from many Canadian watchdog groups but is at the same time claiming that the agreement is not available for review by press nor public. To a large degree I actually believe this. One of the large points in the soundbite I watched last night cited there may soon be labeling of 'Made in North America' on products which sounds much worse to me than the way it was enthusiastically read by the announcer/reporter. The soundbite also made claims that Canada would see prices fall more in line with those south of the border... Where have I heard that line before? Maybe in 1991 with the introduction of the GST, or was I told this when NAFTA was signed? Either way, something that Mulroney had a part in... I have never voted 'Conservative' since, not that I did before anyway. 

Border tax? Tax on airport servers more likely

The U.S. is looking to cash in on Canadians to fix it's budget. Yep, there will (sometime) be a $5.50 tax on crossing the border by sea or air. With an average 7 million Canadians crossing the border a year that's $38.5 Million in border taxes from Canada alone. I guess that will exclude all the Mexicans streaming into the south illegally since that is usually by land.

So they (the U.S.) want to tighten border security... I suggest that we (Canada) tighten security more than them, maybe build a wall and lay bear traps on their side.
