So there I was trying to find out if anybody anywhere knows why the Middle East has been canceled until further notice, when all of a sudden the power goes out. Nice mild sunny summer day with zero to complain about in the weather category. So I run through all the possibilities and about 15th on the list was terrorists (if there really is such a thing) so I stepped outside to see if marital law was in effect... I was disappointed. No smoke, no sirens, no cyborg army... Nope. It was lightning. The lightning happened hundreds of kilometers away which was likely why I missed it. Maybe it was terrorist lightning!
What lies behind us and lies before us are small matters compared to what lies right to our faces.

protecting the children and other sexual deviances
It appears we will soon have a choice put to us in the U.K. and Canada. That choice is the one where we willingingly 'op in' to having our names on the sexual deviant list, or we shut up and drink the kool aid... It hardly seems like a choice, but then neither does letting a bureaucrat decide what is art and what is porn when they are already so awesome at deciding what is rape, and what is 'sex outside of marriage'. I know they simply want to 'protect the children' because that's what things like this are always labelled, and well, we've seen how much they like to protect children. They love to protect children in the missionary, and protect them doggy style, or, their favorite: the curled angel. They protect them on the playground, and even have special harnesses to keep them from falling off the swing-set for their protection... Oh, yeah! They'll protect the children 20 times a day and up their rectum if they have to.

A name for namesake only
So the big brother watch has turned up in France now, as well. So let's see, there's now: U.S.A., Canada, U.K. Australia, and France who are about as bad as China in how they abuse the internet... Sure China actively 'censors' what's available, but do you not think that all this surveillance and logging of everything that is coming out of these other places has a similar effect? If people become paranoid enough over being monitored, that tends to lead to passive censorship which is actually worse in my opinion, because the first means nobody can read it, the second means nobody is saying it (really, no 'dislike' buttons because nobody wants to feel the sting of criticism? What are we, kindergarten children?) to begin with. France, of course, chose to put their own ironic flair on things by griping about the U.S. before any of their own problems became known.

death of a used condom salesmen
I'll admit it... I've fallen behind in my reading in the last 24 hours and now find myself trying to make heads or tails of things... Some things have presented some great irony:
| Funny, but I find the irony of Kosher bacon double cheeseburgers to be even funnier |
It always stresses me out to find hundreds and hundreds of unread items, and it tends to lead me to feel like I have to rush my decision making process (or forgo it altogether), and often leads to making bad judgement calls.

a turnstile through the plot-hole of reality
It doesn't require very much imagination to realize how things got to where they are. Given enough money, plans can be executed, locked doors become turnstiles, and goals can be accomplished no matter the cost. It doesn't even need to be your money, because let's face it, there's nothing more fun than using other people's money while hording your own. Money buys the actors required to set the stage for agendas, and money pays the airtime to reinforce the agendas just in case you forgot what the agenda was. Yes, money buys your opinion, but, only if you don't question it...

...all the warmth of a chain-mail duvet cover filled with ice shards
I once read that if you cut a worm in two, it becomes two worms. While I never truly understood how that's even possible I am sometimes shown real world examples of snakes growing a new head to remind me of how it might work. Even if this example does not make two snakes, it at least shows how the side of the worm without a brain manages to grow a new one. I suppose the other half, without an anus, doesn't matter as much and it gets a short respite from having the shit scared out of it like some other spineless cowards out there.

World War ∞
Was there ever any doubt that a new cold war was approaching? I know that maybe it was under the radar of all that hot war that's been going on since the CIA and Mossad did 9/11, because that played out it's intended purpose so perfectly which was to usher in a new era where freedom comes at the cost of having your genitals groped, or having to whip out ID for simply sitting on a park bench.

The exciting new game of unbroken telephone
Well, in keeping with my apparent theme, and because technology is my most practiced expertise, it only seems fitting that I call attention to some of the same things I've been calling to attention in the past few days. First I'd like to repeat "what happens there, if successful, shall be the model of what happens here". Of course, here they claim to only have 'metadata' (Which I will explain further down), and not the whole recorded conversation, but then again, there, they made that claim too, until there was proof of that being false.

Colouring outside the lines
As I walk among the sleeping world around me realizing the horror of it all, the sheer evil genius at work which keeps everyone seemingly docile and disinterested and even silently complicit, it is not with a smug sense of superiority but with an aching sorrow. Things that have found the open air of scrutiny should have caused a mutiny but the actors have played their parts so well that today is a day just like all those that went before them.
The actors got all up in arms that the information somehow got out there, not that the information existed and for some reason everybody else seems to be paying along. Bait, and switch, hook line & sinker. Why do we fall for and follow this charade? The cold calculated truth that big brother is real should be a slap in the face to every person who has used the internet or made a phone call in the last decade, yet because it's for our safety and security against the terrorist of the week we should be angry at the one who exposed the truth.
Shoot the messenger. Then forget the message.

run-on sentences and other poorly labeled thoughts
I have a backlog of things, yet again. It seems that Alex Jones may have been loosing ratings. I'd toast the occasion with a scotch, but I'm flat broke, so this will have to do.

Mermaids and God's Milk
There are days when I ask myself why I bother to write anything at all. It's true that I look around and see corruption, greed, and moral decay. It's also true that this is not where or how I want to live, but I don't think that I alone can fix things so I publish my thoughts and the things I've read which may contain much of the same sentiment, or a more detailed and researched concept.
Then I read things like this and wonder if maybe people are too stupid to be educated or enlightened, especially given the kind of educational programming they seek out.

The myth of TOR
This video claims, quite outrageously and erroneously, that 'It scrambles web addresses into a jumbled series of characters" then they display a 'startpage' search for leucochloridium paradoxum as some form of proof of this random shit they are speaking of... Ironic that a parasitic flatworm should be their chosen example of random text.
What it can be used for is obscuring your IP address while you surf the web, which does mean that criminal activities on a forum or message board are harder if not outright impossible to trace back to your ISP account. So the 'add an an ounce of truth to ten pounds of bullshit' equation does rear it's ugly head.
There are sites operating in a .onion domain and the silk road they mention is one of them, These sites are not easy to find and they are not accessible from your main browser. These sites are slow and do not give me a warm and cozy feeling that I would like to send off my bit-coins in hopes of actually receiving a box of cannabis seeds. But I can still see how they might be useful in a freedom of speech context, though, I am not about to start hosting a blog there as I doubt I would ever find any readership that way.
I'd post examples of what I saw there, but, in all honesty, just being there granted me a paranoid nervousness that felt I was being tracked for whatever reason. I will say that the silk road is mostly a drug den looking site with over 10k worth of items in the drug category and 640 items under digital tools, which mostly related to TOR.
The TOR software itself is really just a firefox launcher which obtains an IP address from the TOR relay, then opens a 'private browser session' in Firefox using the TOR relay as a proxy...
That is not to say that this will hide your 'surfing while you are supposed to be working' activities because there are many underhanded ways that corporate networks can still spy on you while you are using their equipment. So this is not a license to spend 6 hours of your workday on facebook, unless you work at facebook, in which case, knock yourself out. I'm also not sure that this works if you are contained within the great firewall of China at all... Most importantly, if law enforcement suspects you are committing heinous acts from your home computer, it would not prevent them from tapping your traffic at the ISP hoping to pick up any non-encrypted traffic...
So I would not suggest that this is a 100% cure to becoming invisible online... In fact, at best it simply throws off all the data mining ad selling companies who seek to spam you out with ads 'geared towards you' while you surf, and even then, you have to remain very conscious of what you are doing in this 'anonymous /semi-stealth mode' because once you've checked your Gmail or started making online purchases all bets are off.
And forget about Torrent and illicit copywrong downloads, because first: the download speeds would be horrendously slow, and second, your torrent software rats you out by ignoring the slow tor proxy and finding a fast connection, like the direct one using your ISP assigned IP address.
So TOR, is something you might use to hide anything from dissent to human trafficking, but it isn't really user friendly. And I would not even call it 100% idiot-proof as a means of covering your tracks, and it's VERY VERY slow.

Boil ice cubes, or watch paint dry...
It's hard to swallow anything calling itself science, when that science makes claims that melting ice is causing more ice... I'm debating putting an ice cube on the stove and waiting until the more ice appears, maybe somebody will pay me for such valuable data, like GE or White Westinghouse, or other companies that could manufacture a refrigerator or weapon of mass destruction effectively based on the principle that I unlocked the secret to forming ice cubes in a pot of boiling water.

What a tangled web the spider-pig weaves
As I mentioned earlier, something's different this year. We could try to blame the calendar of a long extinct civilization or we could open our eyes and take a good look at what's going on out there.
Deep down, many of us can even feel the answer within ourselves, were we to take a moment to actually inquire within. True, the external forces are many, and they're crushing us from every vector in the X Y Z radius.

Decrypting the MATRIX
Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you were so sure it was real? What if you were unable to awake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world, and the real world?Technically, regardless of whether we are fully awake or not awake at all, life and everything we may need to survive in this world costs money. Money in most countries is part of the system enslaving us as it is borrowed by governments at interest from international banking conglomerates. This is the exact same thing as personal loans, mortgages, and business loans, and even credit cards, in that, interest is added to interest in perpetuity ad nauseum. Skip a payment, add two extra payments down the road... The trouble is that for each dollar printed into existence there is an added percentage, I hold a $10 bill in my hand, but to those it was borrowed from it is worth $10.10... So? So ask a simple question: how do we find that 10¢ when the dime would cost 10.1¢? So we'll print 10 dimes and 1 penny which owes $1.01101. It never actually ends and there is never enough money in existence to cover the interest because new money costs more money that doesn't yet exist... But without money we are homeless, naked, and starving, just like NEO would have been after being flushed from the power plant when he woke up were it not for Morpheus' rescue. Most countries actually had a solution to this problem at one time, but were convinced by international banking conglomerates that printing money was far too complicated for mere mortals and should be left up to, none other than, international banking conglomerates... Fancy that... This only ends, when money is printed by governments without interest, true, it must be carefully managed so as not to hyper inflate or hyper-deflate, but at least $10 won't have a dime nobody can see somehow embedded into it... And we are finally able to wake from the dreamworld.

trapped in shit castle without an exit
The banner atop the highest pinnacle of this castle of shit simply reads: Purgamentum init, exit purgamentum. Of course it's in Latin so that few question whether it actually has any meaning or not, and fewer still, question what that meaning actually is. But sufficed to say your soaking in it now and that's all that counts.

Reason to quit Facebook # 1
It's true, I have not disabled or deleted my Facebook account yet and I am a bit hypocritical for that I suppose... I also have not been feeding much into 'the system' in the past couple of years either, so maybe I am only mildly psychotic. Not that the government (or google) does not know where I am just in case the men with the straight jackets needed to subdue me... I even make sure to check in with the bank every couple of weeks so as not to appear dead.
I hear paying with cash is another antisocial and psychopathic kind of behaviour, so I might still fit the bill.
