And being Canadian you like to think that the corporations don't hold the balance of Power here, but you are most likely mistaken about that too. Between Mulroney and Harper I thought we'd have figured that out by now, pity. Of course it doesn't really end there anyway, because it would become too easy for us to simply boycott whatever we could, or vote out all the left right assholes... Honestly, I'd like to see a party formed this year containing a bunch of smart people with absolutely no credentials win the next election, maybe simply out of morbid curiosity, but I actually feel that would be a group who would get things done and not be all up in my face. But I am off track again...
So who is really in control then? God? Well, no, God doesn't really work that way. God uses a much smaller voice than most people think and does not reside in any one house in the first place. Most of us would hear God if we were able to find a quiet enough place to listen to the voices in our own minds, it is the voice that is the least hateful that should be followed, I know, the whispers are difficult to make out over all the other noise, so maybe God allowed all of this by not being loud enough.
Who then? Bankers...
And not just your run-of-the-mill morally bankrupt scumbag bankers who came begging for our money just a few short years ago, but the assholes who decided that a bankrupt bank was not what we wanted to happen... Where has all that bailout money gone to? It hasn't helped the economy, or created jobs. If the government had, instead, insured the deposits, and paid out the end users what was owed them, and told the high-rollers that the house went bust, sorry, then more of the money would have filtered into the economy... And if we took that a step further, and they collected on the credit cards outstanding without the exorbitant interest rates, and while not permitting spending on those accounts, they would have made the money back... They could have even made the money back by cutting outstanding debts by 50% or higher because of how banks 'leverage' themselves... Even with 50% of the outstanding mortgage and credit card debts the government could have probably cut taxes on the lower and middle classes to 0 for several years and come out ahead.
Banking is evil yet it's unpunished, and even revered. When did usury stop being condemned? Oh, right, Zionists regard usury to 'my people' as bad... The only thing banking creates is slavery and war. The only wealth created by this system goes straight to the bankers. The answer is socialize banking. If the government owned it they'd never need to charge taxes, and when we vote, allow us to elect the banking heads and the government heads. That would also quell the massive influx of corporate bribery, since most corporations are leveraged by the banks. Very few, save for the very largest companies have reserve cash, and with Nortel as an example, even a billion dollars in reserves only lasts so long. That should regulate the balance of power closer to a real democracy...
Don't wait for the media to tell you what's wrong with this place, because they tend to take stories like this and turn them into crap like this. Oh, boo hoo, the racist baby slapper lost his job as CEO of a defense contractor...
