ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement à là united häte of ämərikä). Can someone explain how a group named "Immigration and Customs Enforcement" has (or is to) become the RIAA/MPAA global police puppet? After the bang-up job amerika has done in the drug wars and gun control area this will not play out well.

As it stands ICE has already been seizing web sites and domains without due process and sometimes for no good reason except that the MPAA/RIAA 'claim' the sites are infringing on copyright, even if they aren't.

Piracy seems to be hurting the middlemen more than the artists anyhow. Given the way the music industry robbed it's talent of every dime it could 60 years ago it's nice that the public can steal from the fatcats while not overly damaging the creativity that's been exploited all these years.

I've already covered the entertainment industry's failures before, so I won't go into it in great length. But seriously?! Protect IP? This makes as much sense as sending your border guards to foreign nations to extradite foreign nationals accused (by the same industry fat cats that claim 50cent's own web site is a copyright infringement) of such terrorist acts of copyright infringement...

WTF!!!????
